Well, I guess I ought to write something. I'm not good at updating journals... I have lots of Fractal pictures in my gallery for everyone to see, as well as a couple of tutorials and even a fractal formula set, all done by yours truly! Of course, if you have any comments, questions, criticisms, or anything else, let me know!  I'm always welcome to hear them, and will try to respond as soon as possible if you want.  I'm especially interested to hear critiques of my images- what you liked and didn't like, what you thought was good and what could be improved upon, etc. Thank you for stopping by! I've been playing with mandelbulb 3d as of late.  It's a totally free 3d fractal generator that's actually pretty easy to use.  Pick a formula (or two) and load it up in the 3d navigator.  Use the navigator to find a good spot, and load it back into the main program.  Play with the lighting, color, and background, and render the picture.  it's really been something interesting to play with, and a nice break from "the norm" Here is where you can get the program: http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=22 And if you go through their forums ( http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulb-3d/ ), you'll find many new formu

Well, I suppose no news is good news... I hope everyone who tried my gnarl formula ( http://jaycecruel.deviantart.com/art/Jayce-Cruel-s-Gnarl-Formula-160869571 in case you missed it) found it to be (relatively) easy to use and worked well for them.  I have seen a few images made with the formula (Thank you for showing them to me!), and it makes me proud to know that others have tried it out and made images with them, and I always look forward to seeing more of them.  For me, the gnarl formulas have been more or less a staple of all my latest fractal images.  I suppose that goes towards the huge variety of different images that can be produce
